We understand that each resident of Nell's House has likely suffered severe emotional and/or physical trauma. They may have never felt secure or free. That's why upon their arrival at Nell's House, an in-take process examines their experiences and evaluates their needs. Human trafficking survivors are encouraged to go through a stabilization period. We want them to feel safe and to call this their home. They closely interact with our on-staff licensed case manager to develop a treatment plan specifically for their individual needs; we encourage them to reach attainable goals.

Nell's House, operated by the parent group Homes of Freedom, LLC, partners with other organizations, non-profits and professionals in our community. Residents receive necessary medical care and counseling from local professionals. Mentors guide them in learning life skills and parenting skills. Additionally, they are encouraged to seek job training with the goal of finding meaningful work and integrating as functioning
members of our society.
